Things To Do While In Auburn

Toomer's Corner Drugstore (& more)

For a Lemonade or late lunch, any time of the day, you can find everything you need at famous Toomer's Corner. The timeless lemonade is a staple of Toomer's just as Toomer's is a staple of Auburn University. Since 1896, this family-run drugstore has sat on the corner of Magnolia Avenue and College Street right next to famously trees that get rolled in toilet paper upon victory.

SkyBar

This collegiate hangout is a popular destination of gameday heroes and beyond. The space is huge with 2 floors and various different bars throughout. The front half of the bar is open, hence the name Sky Bar, and if there isn't a live music performance, there is karaoke! There seems there is always something to do in Auburn's most popular bar and is definitely where every student ends up, eventually.

Auburn University Sign + Samford Hall

Even if you are not an attendee of Auburn University, it is still nice to see all the famous landmarks of the school, after all we all have a friend of a friend who most likely is a tiger. While you are in the area, walk around campus and take in all the university has to offer, this will definitely end in an aesthetically pleasing Instagram. It is still very cool to see other universities, even though it is obvious who's on top (Go Dawgs).

Momma Goldberg's Deli

As the oldest independently-owned establishment in Auburn, the original Momma Goldberg's is the most "Auburn" establishment in the college town in many respects. It is the best cure for when you had a little too much fun the night before and the best place to stop on your way in or out of town. Of course, the Momma Goldberg's franchise took off into many other cities and college towns but something about going to where it all started makes it extra special and extra good.

The Hound

Want a good dinner? The Hound is the perfect place to bring parents or even if you want to get beer and apps before hitting downtown. This rustic backdrop nods to a hunting-lounge but a very vamped up version, featuring 28 craft beers on tap, top-shelf bourbon, and craft cocktails. The food isn't too bad either!!

Behind the Glass

With an amazing reputation that has lasted since our parents were in college, Behind the Glass is the perfect place to spend your money. Don't like what you brought to wear to out? This on-trend boutique can give you the piece you need to complete your outfit. With brands like free people, steve madden and BB Dakota, the quality matches the quantity of cute available women's clothing!
